On Saturday, September 27th, beginning at noon, the Shindig Music Festival will make its grand return to Carroll Park in Baltimore.
“A ‘shindigâ is defined as ‘a large, lively party celebrating something.â In this case, the ‘somethingâ is an independent DIY Rock & Roll spirit and work ethic that make up the very core of the city of Baltimore. This yearâs lineup is as fun and diverse as the neighborhoods and people of Charm City.” (theshindigbaltimore.com)
Tickets to the Shindig Music Festival - which will go on rain or shine - are $70 each. Children under 12 get in for free with a paying adult. The event is expected to sell out, so buying your tickets ahead of time is strongly recommended. There will be lots of food to choose from - including vegan, vegetarian, and organic options - plus other local retail vendors and non-profit organizations to check out.
The lineup looks fantastic - Janeâs Addiction, The Mahones, Halestorm, Gogol Bordello, and Rise Against are just a few of the bands that will take the stage at this spectacular all-day festival. Visit theshindigbaltimore.com to see the rest of the bands and the times theyâll be playing, and to find out more info about what to (and not to) bring, where to park, which hotels are nearby, and anything else you might want to know about the Shindig. Itâs all there!
Weâll be there with a Cell Phone Charging Trailer, so when your phone starts losing battery power, be sure to stop by and charge it for free.
