On Saturday, September 27th, beginning at noon, the Shindig Music Festival will make its grand return to Carroll Park in Baltimore.
“A ‘shindig’ is defined as ‘a large, lively party celebrating something.’ In this case, the ‘something’ is an independent DIY Rock & Roll spirit and work ethic that make up the very core of the city of Baltimore. Tickets to the Shindig Music Festival - which will go on rain or shine - are $70 each. Children under 12 get in for free with a paying adult. The event is expected to sell out, so buying your tickets ahead of time is strongly recommended. There will be lots of food to choose from - including vegan, vegetarian, and organic options - plus other local retail vendors and non-profit organizations to check out.
The lineup looks fantastic - Jane’s Addiction, The Mahones, Halestorm, Gogol Bordello, and Rise Against are just a few of the bands that will take the stage at this spectacular all-day festival.
